Winter…what winter?

You know, up here in the mountains we like our snow! We plan for it, we hope for it, we even pray for it. We love to ski on it, plow it out of the way, play with it, ride our snowmobiles on it, i could go on and on but i think you get the picture!. To say this has been a disappointing Winter would be an understatement. Its been a real clunker and  I am almost ready to give up on it and move to the spring where baseball, fishing rods and wild leeks become the distractions of the season. Now, while I’m not totally prepared to lay this most unharsh winter to rest (does anyone remember the Blizzard that hit us on February 26th, 2010 ?) I am thinking about the floral arrangement i might choose for the winter of 2012 burial service.  So before we bid this mild collection of winter months adieu, lets hold out hope for one big storm, dust off the plows, make some snow balls and winter angels, wax the skis and gas up the Snowmobiles!!!…..stay tuned for the spring fishing report!!!
