The Blues Maneuver is one of the Catskill Mountain region’s busiest, swingingest bands. CANVAS & COCKTAILS WITH BETH FIRMIN

Come one or come all! Learn to paint in the Yellow Room at the Andes Hotel. March 3rd, April 7th, May 5th. 7pm. $10 for instruction. Instruction by Lisbeth Firmin, professional contemporary American impressionist painter. Grab your friends, coworkers, or make it a unique date night-and join us for an evening of entertaining art instruction. The best part? You will go home with a painting you can call "uniquely yours" and hopefully a new found talent you'll want to explore. Reservations suggested.

Lisbeth Firmin is a contemporary American impressionist painter/printmaker known for her urban landscapes. Her work has been exhibited at numerous galleries and institutions across the country and internationally for more than 30 years. She has received a 2010 WSKG Best of Show Award, a 2007 New York Foundation Fellowship, a 2007 New York State Council on the Arts Grant, a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, first prize in the LANA International Arts Competition along with fellowships to the MacDowell Colony, the National Seashore, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Saltonstall Arts Colony. She is represented in Provincetown by the Rice-Polak Gallery and locally by Windham Fine Arts and the Viviana Hansen Gallery. She moved from NYC to upstate NY in 2000 and bought a glorious Greek Revival storefront studio in Franklin, NY, where she paints every day. www.lisbeth.com

Come to the village to see the Andes Memorial Day Parade. Kick off time is around 10am or after the Trail Ways Bus comes through. Fire trucks, marching bands and much more. Sit on the Andes Hotel porch and take it all in!
